#EVERYDAYJESUS is resilience

The Message is as true among you today as when you first heard it. It doesn’t diminish or weaken over time. It’s the same all over the world. The Message bears fruit and gets larger and stronger, just as it has in you. From the very first day you heard and recognized the truth of what God is doing, you’ve been hungry for more.

Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.

God rescued us from dead-end alleys and dark dungeons. He’s set us up in the kingdom of the Son he loves so much, the Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.

We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.

He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross.

You yourselves are a case study of what he does. At one time you all had your backs turned to God, thinking rebellious thoughts of him, giving him trouble every chance you got. But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. You don’t walk away from a gift like that! You stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly tuned in to the Message, careful not to be distracted or diverted. There is no other Message—just this one. Every creature under heaven gets this same Message.

EVERYDAY JESUS is the way.

Em… I don’t think I can say this too…much.

Although no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation (loosening, solving)(2Peter1:20), Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.(2Timothy3:16)

You are that ‘man of God’!!!

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.(Proverbs 3:5-7)

In case you think ‘evil’ is ambiguous or even overt, know this; This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. (John 6:29), whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin [whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful].(Romans 14:23).

So before you eat up them quotes and inspirational snacks…Ask yourself…

Would Jesus agree?

We are

Okay, first of all … I am eternal. I would have said ‘we’ but I’ve learnt to be careful about accusing other people of their own immortality… I am eternal, and I have an offer for you.

God has given us himself, not to be hidden on a shelf and dusted off on Sunday but to purify us from death, not to be killed by self but dusted off as sons; day to day, he invites us to say, and know!! Yes …we are eternal.

I want to tell you tales of how I chased tails, and I mean females, but what ails me to spell well about is the fact that we are sleeping walking. While lullabies of ‘May God bless you’ are repeated like broken records, we fix our pupils on the flesh and let men leads us whose lids are shut by pointless efforts of trying to ‘get rich or die trying’.

I am he who gives you the power to make wealth, says the Lord of Lords.

God has given us himself, not to be hidden on a shelf and dusted off on Sunday but to purify us from death not to be killed by self but dusted off as sons; day to day he invites us to say, and know! Yes… we are eternal.

There was once a rich man whose servants were off in other lands busy with businesses that were to bring their master more wealth. He had provided to reward richly the ones who were most profitable.

But the servants ran their businesses into debt and had to go into slavery to pay their debts. But the rich man had a plan, he told it to one man; and sent hints of it to his servants in slavery…

The son of the rich man was sent to lend a hand to the enslaved servants, but they didn’t recognize him so they grabbed and gave him to their creditor who recognized him and was only too happy to sign the deal.

Now, free, the servants wandered about afraid to return to their master while the son served their sentence in the creditors den…but then, the son of the rich man, like his father, was a business genius and 3 years later, from being a slave, the son took over the creditor’s business.

The servants were all gathered in one place one day when the Son walked up of them. They were afraid, but he calmed them, ‘it was all part of the plan to free you from your creditor and take over the creditors business so he would never enslave you that way again. My father sent me to tell you he’s adopting you as his children. I will be your brother if you accept his invitation.’

The servants were overjoyed, because as children of the rich man they would be entitled to all his wealth. They’d never work another day.

‘No’, the son said, ‘Go into all the world and tell the good news of what my father has done; through me to prove his offer’.

God has given us himself not to be hidden on a shelf and dusted off on Sunday but to purify us from death and not to be killed by self but dusted off as sons day to day He invites us to say , to know, yes… we are eternal.

The simplicity of this analogy leaves me living with one thing left to leave before I leave. I offer you, God offers you the offer to offer your body as a living sacrifice to be joined to him as one spirit… and don’t think like the world wants you to, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you can prove what is that perfect, good and acceptable will of God …who given us the ministry of reconciliation, and all things needed for life and godliness, and all spiritual blessings in heavenly places…

There are no blessings in heaven for you… because, God has given us himself not to be hidden on a shelf and dusted off on Sunday but to purify us from death and not to be killed by self but dusted off as sons day to day he invites us, to say, to know, yes!… we are eternal.

If you accept his offer, you can bless someone today! By saying it, knowing it … remind them, surprise them, say to them, ‘we are eternal’. Because Everyday, Jesus is.

Don’t look at me
Don’t! Please!
My sins are written,
Like chalk on a board
They stand,
Against the wall of my righteousness,
Contrasting with my peace.
Please don’t look at me.
GOD will never forgive me.

I saw opportunities to run,
To flee,
I could have walked free,
Now my reflection points,
At me, accusations.
Like swords set to sink sewers
Into my self sufficient confidence.
I…didn’t flee from evil.
I joined and frolicked in it.
Pleasure took hold of my eyes
Yet I was not so blind
I magnified
delight above The Light.
And so I lost the fight.
I lied, I stole, I fornicated,
God will never forgive me.

You must be feeling sorry for me.

That’s interesting.

In case you think
Ah! I didn’t lie or cheat or steal.
I didn’t fornicate! For real!
Allow me to reintroduce myself
I am human like you
The truth is there are
A lot of Ways to Sin
It doesn’t matter which you’re in.
There are no white lies
No good criminals or legal bribes.
Yes, already you know,
God will never forgive you.

Maybe you’re a devout person
You’ve never played with treason.
You fast and tithe, in good season;
You washed your mouth with Klin.
But you missed one tithe payment;
Or broke a fast early by a minute.
Or You thought deep in your heart
‘I’ll be kinder when I’m a bit richer.’
Don’t think God is from Asia
He won’t forgive sin just like that
So if you’ve never shed blood
And done the rites for your sins
Then you will die and be damned
GOD will never forgive you.

But as I sit, stained by my idiocy
I hear speaking to me gently.
The lashes,
They bled and pulsed with dread.
The Thorns,
They dug beneath his scalp,
creating the craziest head-ache.
The Nails,
They pinned him to logs of wood,
One stuck out of a ticklish place
Turning pleasant giggles
To searing pain.
His Father watched in silence,
Angel Armies standing and staring.

No matter how many times
You ask GOD for his forgiveness
Without Jesus…
You might have to get a lamb.
Maybe more than one.
Else GOD will never forgive you.

Don’t look at me
Don’t! Please!
My sins are written,
Like chalk on a board
They stand,
Against the wall of my righteousness,
Contrasting with my peace.
So I choose to face my peace
My name is written,
Like a gem in Gold,
It sits,
In the palm of his righteousness.
Please don’t look at me.
Look at him!

And you others like me
Who look to Jesus,
Who believe that he died and rose,
And is coming back for you.
Listen to the Spirit of Jesus
As he whispers in your heart
He won’t speak English,
Or Hausa or Yoruba or Igbo or Edo,
But you’ll see what he’s saying
Because his own hear his voice.
When sin trips you, get up.
You’re dead to sin, don’t die in it.
When you feel guilty, remember;

#EVERYDAYJESUS is your justification.

Hello ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’,

I have that feeling one gets when they’re ‘home alone’ and like ‘The Flash’ power flickers and is ‘Taken 2’. That’s a norm in Nigeria though, so many know this feeling well.

Real Christians shouldn’t ‘Bleach’ at the sound of darkness.

But again I’m monologuing in the ‘House’ that is ‘Once upon a Time…’ You see Truth when God says, ‘Let it Shine.’

It doesn’t matter if ‘The Devil wears Prada’, it matters that he is filled with hateful ‘Obsession’ that makes him whisper to every Christian, ‘He’s not that into you’.

And by you I mean ‘Her’, ‘The Church’ who all spark ‘Transformers’ to become ‘Titanic’; Dying to ‘Sin City’ and passing ‘The Exam’ that is The Law.

His job is to accuse ‘Heroes’ and ‘Stitch’ ‘A Thousand Words’ in misrepresentation of ‘The Lion King’, ‘Son of God’, ‘The Matrix’ of ‘Life as we know it’.
But should I have said ‘As we ought to know ‘It’?’

In life’s ‘Game of Thrones’ … God’s is ‘The Kingdom’ that will always win…wait..that has always won.

All of us looked up at him and said, ‘I can do bad all by myself’ but ‘His Royal Highness’ chose us among ‘The Avengers’ of Love to each be a ‘Shooter’ of words not containing merely ‘The Sound of Music’ but containing ‘The Giver’ of Life…

They call our ministry of pure ‘Grace’ a ‘Mission Impossible’… But he redefined ‘The Quantum of Solace’ by choosing not to simply let us ‘Die Another Day’… He made ‘Abraham’ a promise and ‘The Spirit’ is the fulfilment of that promise… Through the ‘Passion of the Christ’ and his ‘Resurrection’, God gave ‘Salvation’ to ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’…

‘Noah’ didn’t see this coming… ‘David’ probably did… But here we are… And when we do ‘Good Deeds’ now its not to be approved but show ourselves approved… We know our ‘Final Destination’…

But if you’re asking yourself, ‘Why did I get married 2’ the ‘Maze runner’ that is The Law?

‘The Thing’ is … This is a ‘War of Worlds’… And ‘Faith’ is the currency that gets you the ‘Lottery Ticket’ that is ‘The Spirit’… He never devalues or loses value.

But instead of naming movies till ‘Movie 43’, Let me put it more simply:

God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation—he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ’s name.]

The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil.

Now, ‘This is the End’; I hope you let all that Word ‘Step up’, ‘Jump in’ and ‘Stomp the Yard’ in Your heart. Because when its ‘Rush Hour’ and The ‘Pacific Rim’ or ‘The World is not enough’ to contain your doubts or guilt, you must not be ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ and meet your ‘Death at a funeral’.

He did ‘Die Hard’ so we may live. He went to the ‘Underworld’ so we should experience and not just say, ‘Heaven is Real’. Its not some ‘Silent Hill’, or ‘The Back-up plan’ for our accommodation after a ‘Prison Break’ from this ‘Body of Lies’. No Its got more ‘Sugar’ than an ’American Pie’, and God is Love and Love never fails so this is not the remix.

Real Christians shouldn’t ‘Scream’ at the sound of darkness. But then I might be saying all this because ‘I’m in love with a Church girl’… You don’t have to trust me, ‘Now you see me’ through my words. You can see Jesus, see God, the same way. How?

‘Get hard’ on your Bible, its Cinematic.

Christ a poet

It all began when I decided to ask questions.

i have, prior to this time believed a whole lot of things but this particular one struck me.

The minister made an altar-call (i was used to picking everyone of those, never had a missed call) so as usual i answered and then he said “every first born child should pray against generational curses”. I prayed fervently in all tongues and was never really satisfied though, that was sometime in 2013.

when this same call was made again in 2014, guess who picked it?

this guy.

then the questions started coming in

1.didn’t you break this curse last year?

2.is this curse unbreakable?

3.you said greater is He that is in you but, do you really mean that?

so i got offended with myself and decided to seek out the truth. and i am here to share because  have found the…

Christ a poet

He is life, existence; essence.
The substance of existents, of evidence.
Their is no being without him
Water is made of him
Fire was born in his presence.
All knowing, he is omnipotence
Heaven and Earth is in The Beginning.

He is Love, innocent; unconditional
Like a picture’s smile of approval
Patient, cautious, forgiving.
Though he hurts he keep giving
Omnipresent in his parental
task of offspring retrieval.
Merciful, compassionate, hoping
We all come home to him.

He is Light, knowledge; Power.
The ability to make or scatter
The thought within The Word,
Where meaning is stored.
The reverberation of matter,
When The Truth says a prayer,
The Receipt of Reconnection,
A Nature and Translation.

He is The Creator,
King of Heaven, GOD!!!
